Staying hydrated throughout the day can be challenging with our busy schedules, making it easy to forget to drink enough water and maintain optimal health.

How do you know it is AquaTrack?

Aquatrack is instantly recognizable with its refreshing blue and white color scheme, reflecting clarity and hydration. The modern, user-friendly design ensures that navigating the app feels effortless and enjoyable.
 

Design Process

  • Define Objective: Create a user-friendly app that promotes healthy hydration habits through easy water tracking and personalized reminders.

  • Create Personas: Develop user personas to ensure the app meets the needs of different users, such as fitness enthusiasts, busy professionals, and anyone looking to improve their hydration.

  • Identify Users: Target individuals interested in improving their health and well-being by maintaining proper hydration, such as athletes, office workers, or students.

  • Conduct Tests: Test the user experience to refine features and ensure the app addresses user needs and preferences for tracking water intake.

  • Analyze Findings: Use feedback to align the app’s features with user expectations and make necessary improvements for a seamless and enjoyable hydration tracking experience.

Final Iteration

  • Add a water progress bar on the home page for quick tracking.

  • Introduce a premium version to allow adding more types of drinks and customization options.

  • Create a profile/account feature for personalized tracking and syncing across devices.

  • Introduce monthly goals with personalized daily reminders to motivate users to stay hydrated.

  • Enhance usability to improve the overall user experience.

Conclusion

Aquatrack addresses key user needs by promoting consistent water intake and well-being. We encountered challenges with navigation and clear instructions during research and testing. Future iterations will focus on improving usability for diverse drinks and making the app more efficient for everyone. Enhancing community participation will improve the user experience and increase the app's influence in promoting healthy hydration habits.
